USPAP CONSULTING

The Appraisal Foundation has set up the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB)  to establish rigorous qualifications for the nation’s appraisers. One way to implement those qualifications is by having all new appraiser licensees take and pass  the required 15 hour national course entitled: UNIFORM STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL PRACTICE (USPAP) . Licensed appraisers must take a seven-hour  refresher course known as the USPAP Update.

Those appraisers who take  The Appraisal Foundation’s  course to become the  Instructors of USPAP must  take and pass an even more rigorous course and  examination to become AQB-Certified USPAP Instructors.  Appraisers are bound to follow USPAP in most of their assignments.
